Jan is the newest member of the New Horizon’s team. A midwife for
over 9 years, Jan has participated in over 2500 births. She attended
the Frontier School of Midwifery to earn her certificate of
midwifery and was one of Kathy Gardner’s students. Prior to that Jan
was a nursing director at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital, Tampa
General and Brandon Community Hospital. She has a long career in
women’s health nursing.
Jan enjoys working with gynecological patients, especially focusing
on menopause and perimenopause issues. Jan has special training in
colposcopy, cryotherapy and the management of abnormal pap smears.
Jan has four children, and three grandchildren. In her spare time
she likes golfing, bowling, boating and reading.
